As the third largest iron oxide manufacturer in the world, CATHAY INDUSTRIES provides a wide range of iron oxide pigments from economical grades for construction applications, to high-quality CATHAYCOAT™ for top coating, and the highest-purity CATHAYPURE™ for cosmetics.
Chrome Oxide Green pigments from CATHAY INDUSTRIES are a range of high-quality inorganic green pigments. They are produced to strict quality standard and offer reliable performance, including:
- outstanding light-fastness
- high opacity
- excellent chemical resistance
- exterior durability
From the micronized and standard grades to the construction grades, CATHAY INDUSTRIES provides a full range of Chrome Oxide Green pigments for different industries with diverse requirements.
Chrome Oxide Green pigments must not be confused with the potentially toxic “Chrome Green,” which is a blend of chrome yellow and iron blue that CATHAY INDUSTRIES does not produce.
Heat stable ferrites: CATHAY INDUSTRIES produces two mixed metal oxide types, Manganese Ferrite and Zinc Ferrite. Both are made with high-temperature calcination and are heat stable for use in applications with temperature changes. These products are offered under the name of CATHAYCOAT™.
Organic Pigments: CATHAYCOLOR™ is a trade mark of organic pigments provided by CATHAY INDUSTRIES. It is a full range of classic and high performance organic pigments from manufacturing joint venture partners in China. From azo yellows and phthalo blues to DPP reds and quinacrodone violets, CATHAY offers the full spectrum of grades to satisfy your color and performance requirements across a broad range of end applications including coatings, inks, plastics and rubber.
Solvent Dyes: CATHAYSOL™ dyes are high quality polymer soluble dyes that are suitable for coloring engineering plastics like polystyrene (PS), styrene acrylonitrile (SAN) and acylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), unplasticised polvinyl chloride (PVC-R), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polyester (PET/PBT), polycarbonate (PC) and to a limited extent polyamide (PA). They produce brilliant and transparent colors.
Umbers: CATHAY offers raw and burnt umber and sienna pigments of uncompromising quality. These pigments have semi-transparent properties making them ideal for use in wood and furniture stains.
